Celebrating Port Macquarie's rich surfing history.

To preserve and explore our rich surfing past and beach culture that will bring together all the various surfing disciplines from surfboard riders to bodyboarders and all the ongoing cultural, social and economic significance.

​The museum is back open between 10am and 2pm.

OUR VISION

THE PLAN

Our building has been designed to blend in with the natural surrounds of the open space area of bushland and beach. Our preferred site is with the Town Beach precinct along the foreshore area overlooking the beach.

HORTON STREET SHOP

We currently have a 'pop-up' information space at 113 Horton Street (next to Saltwater Wine Surf) where you can view the proposed museum plans, a sample of exhibition items and a range of historic photographs of the region and local surfers.
